Just Thought I’d Point This Out…

So I was wondering how many viewers sympathize with Antonia and think what Luis and his maker did to her was disgusting and yet still love Bill

Bill sure seems to enjoy that little recipe himself…

( Btw, You can say Lorena made Bill do that but it was his decision to leave her alive while she bled out next to his sex session with Lorena, Lorena even snapped the man’s neck before she joined Bill and I have said a hundred times- Bill could have glamoured his victims before feedings too but obviously he enjoys that fear as he feeds).

Bill obviously doesn’t mind mixing sexual perversion (something we see in the Luis and Antonia scene) with some of his feedings (also let us not forget that the Blu-Ray extras said Bill and Lorena did that ritual MANY times):

Ohk…so before you start making excuses for Bill and other vampires consider that we never see Eric feeding on unwilling victim  unless he’s attacked:

Presumably he fed off of her at some point and she was willing

I guess I will take it back if we ever find a scene in which Eric feeds off unwilling victims in such a violent way outside of combat/conflict/confrontation.  Until then, I won’t. I guess you can point out the Russell Edington thing but that was during the course of combat/conflict and is not an independent episode of feeding off an unwilling and concious person.

Definitely agree! Bill’s a sick little puppy…or to use a cliche, he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing! I’m sure that Eric’s had his unwilling victims, and maybe they’ve come during his first 200 years and Eric’s self control has come in the later 800, but I don’t see Bill changing anytime soon. I can’t see Eric ever having sex in a pool of blood next to the dying victim. 1) Eric enjoys sex too much to be that violent during sex and 2) Eric isn’t that cruel unless he has to be…he’s a warrior first and foremost, and warriors don’t play around with their food like that.

I can’t tell you have many intelligent people I know that are fooled by his character no matter what has been revealed and still either see Eric as the “evil one” or revel in Bill’s victim hood right along with him.

Remember, the comic books showed Eric finding willing victims somehow even then!

I am sure most of Eric’s victims were as a result of battle/conflict and this season we are shown that Eric has a real conscience even about that deep down.

I think so too but I think maybe Eric can find a happy medium. Apparently Sookie thinks she likes that sometimes lol.

EXACTLY! I don’t think you could have put it better. Eric is a warrior and many people mistake that for pure cruelty when its just the rules of battle. Bill was never a warrior outside of his human life.

Another great post Kat! When Bill was pontificating (lol) to Jessica about the sins of vampires he pretty much gave Jessica his laundry list of his own crimes against his victims and Sookie.

    Another parallel to consider:
When (Real) Eric went to Sookie’s house to inform her that he was the new owner he recited a laundry list as well. His list included every heinous thing Bill has done towards Sookie. REric recited this list to Sookie to inform her of the reasons why she needed the protection of a vampire and REric offered his services. Sookie rejected Eric.
When Eric returned as Amnesiac Eric he demonstrated to Sookie verbatim by his adorable ‘unwitting’ actions that he was capable of not hurting but protecting Sookie by restraining his actions.

It appears that either form of Eric’s actions are more valuable than Bill’s words.

      Thank you Osterby!
yes I dont understand why people can take away from that scene that Bill loves humans after what he did!

That goes back to Eric’s line: “I will never betray you.”

Exactly. i dont understand why people often take Bill’s words over Eric’s actions!

I remember the last sex scene that Bill and Sookie had was almost as disturbing as the Lorena head turning scene. What made it disturbing wasn’t even Bill (directly) because we’re used to him being kind of disgusting, but Sookie was all evil or something. She was very aggressive and it felt like they were having really angry sex. This was soon after her disturbing scene where she laughed while throwing away the remains of the King’s lover, so she just went to the darkest place ever with Bill. I wouldn’t be surprised if she suffered some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder.

What I predict is that there will be a parallel between Eric recovering his memories, and Sookie recovering hers too. This will hopefully bring them together again as they both deal with some of their darker sides.

Yes, I was completely disgusted at the gun (indicating death and destruction) and the fact that Bill was trying to bite Sookie after what he had just done to her.
Well yeah she definitely was acting that way during the Debbie thing. I know Debbie was attacking her but it was more than mere self-defense.

I think Sookie is still suffering from PTSD and may not realize it. I think that’s why she keeps regressing back to her feelings for Bill without realizing it isn’t a positive thing.

I believe that Sookie needs to deal with her feelings about what happened with Bill through Eric and/or Alcide’s help but I think its best that it’s Eric because he is more honest and stronger.
